ABOUT FRIENDS OF SELECTS

Our Mission

To ensure the BK Selects Hockey program exceeds the highest national standards of academic rigor and on-ice excellence to make a lasting impact on the lives of our student-athletes. The Friends of Selects Hockey’s annual development platform will leverage philanthropic efforts to drive sustained investment into the BK Selects Hockey program, ensuring long-term program sustainability.

Who We Serve

The Friends of Selects Hockey, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, supports Bishop Kearney's nationally recognized BK Selects Hockey program. The organization works closely with Bishop Kearney's academic and hockey administration to support strategic initiatives strengthening our student-athletes' academic, social, and athletic performance.


The Foundation allows BK Selects Hockey alumni, parents, and friends to support the program through tax-deductible charitable giving.


Our Impact

Donor-directed projects completed include; upgrading the Common Room on the boys' dorm floor with new furniture, lounge areas, and entertainment. Video rooms and learning centers were installed on the second floor, the Residential Life staff was expanded, and enhancing collegiate placement support.Donor-directed projects in progress to be completed for the 2023-2024 season include a new BK Student Union and a complete redesign of the boys' dorm floor kitchen and dining area
